Polish police have detained 515 people for various offenses since the beginning of Euro 2012, said on Tuesday, June 19, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland Jacek Chihotsky.
According to the minister among the detainees 362 people are citizen of Poland and 153 are foreigners, mostly Russian citizens.
Most Poles were detained after the riots on June 12. At the same time have been detained for more than 20 Russians, but the bulk came to the police on June 16 before the game Russia-Greece.
About 90 detainees have been convicted in an accelerated mode. Two Russians have got two and three months in prison for fighting, the rest were released or paid fines.
